We read a story called Finders Keepers. In the story everybody found a hat and they thought it was a boat, a nest, and a clown nose. After the story we thought about what else the hat could be used for. We came up with a bowl, a purse, a flag, a fanny pack, a swing chair, Jolly Jumper seat, and bucket.
In math we rolled dice and found its friend that makes ten. Then we drew it in a 10 frame.
In music we learned about the different instruments in the classroom and Mrs. Bessemer showed us how to play them. We learned about the tambourine, maracas, the cowbell, handbells, sand scrapers.
In gym we got our driver's licenses in hula hoop cars!
