Today we dug out a pumpkin! We used it to write about what it felt like, smelled like, and looked like. Later in the day we estimated and counted how many seeds there were. We counted 565 seeds! Our closest estimate was 561 seeds.
Halloween is on Thursday! Students are able to wear costumes to school, as long as there are no weapons or masks. Coventry Hills School will be having our seventh annual "Pumpkinella" event. Children may bring a Jack-O-lantern to be put in the gym for our 'spooktacular' display. Pumpkins can be brought to the gym between 8:55-9:10 and must be picked up by 4:15 the same day. Any unclaimed pumpkins will be composted. As a reminder, please do not send any treats or goody bags for the class on Thursday.
