This morning we focused on how to use non-fiction books. We used the Table of Contents to find the information we were looking for. We were trying to find out what happens to animals in the winter (from our wonderings last week). Then we learned how to write notes from the books that we read. We learned tricks such as:
- using a slash instead of spelling "and" 
- using bullet points instead of sentences with periods
- putting facts in our own words

 

 

 

In math we worked on fact families and made different equations using the same numbers.
