This morning we worked on our stories and continued to share our ideas with our peers. We were shown a class example of how to edit our work and make changes. Then we tried it ourselves. A lot of us are using our personal dictionaries to make sure our spelling is correct. We finished the morning with some word work, technology, hot and cold page, and reading comprehension centers.
This afternoon for gym we played a human board game of gymnastic skills to prepare us for trying them on the mats tomorrow. Please bring an elastic band for your child's hair tomorrow. They will also be in bare feet tomorrow for the remainder of the gymnastics unit. If there is a medical problem, and they need to keep their socks/shoes on, please send a note to school with them. In music we are learning to play the ukelele by playing the song Ukelele Magic.
In math we solved today's math riddle: If the day before yesterday was Sunday, what is the day after tomorrow?
After that, we looked at this week's math problem and started working on it together.
