Reading Online

Here are some online reading resources for reading books online. Please try them out this week to see if you can get in.

- The class code is lui0568
- Find your name
- Students should be familiar with this site

2. Raz Kids
- Go to https://www.kidsa-z.com/ 
- Type in lowebell for teacher username
- Click Go
- Find your name
- Password will be to click on the red turtle picture 
- Click Go again

Here are your tasks for this week:

Literacy: Journal Entry

In a journal, on a piece of paper, or in a word document, write and draw about 2 topics this week:

1. How was your Spring Break?

     - What did you do?

     - What did one of your days look like?     

2. How are you feeling about online school/school at home?

     - What has changed?

     - What are you excited for/worried about?

We will be looking for:

1. Capitals

2. Punctuation

3. 3 to 10 full sentences for each entry

4. Editing your work (make sure it is neat!)
5. A picture relating to your writing

Math: 2D/3D Shape Hunt

1. Match the shape names from the word list to the shapes shown on the page.

2. Find 3 shapes of each object around your home, online, or in books that have these shapes. Draw the objects and label them with their shape name and the name of the object.

We will be looking for:

- Correctly matched shapes with their name (Identify 2-D and 3-D Shapes page)
- 3 pictures of each shape (3D Shape Hunt page)
- Correctly sorted shapes into their correct boxes (3D Shape Hunt page)

Use the documents below to help you complete the task. If you need us to send you the documents over email for better quality, please let us know.

Parents, please add a little note describing how much support your child needed and how you helped them during the week. This can be in your email to both Mrs. Bell and Ms. Lowe that you will send with the final product on Friday, April 10.
