There is no school tomorrow.
Today we had our first library visit and we got to pick out books for the class and for home. Our books will be due in two weeks and we will be able to visit the library to exchange books once a week.
In math we had unifix cubes and base ten blocks. We played with a partner to build numbers between 11 and 20.
We read a story called "The Story Machine." In the story, a boy named Elliott found a machine in his attic. He discovered that it made stories. But one day, it broke because he used it to much. In the end, he found out that he is the one who was creating the stories, and not the "machine." After we created a picture of our own to start creating our own stories. We used books and our own imaginations to create our pictures.
