Today in gym we practiced the Terry Fox run. We did it for 5 minutes. Every day we are adding one more minute.
We made ten with ten frames and we wrote the equation to go with it. We have been working on counting by tens and by fives.
We worked on our Canada maps. We added the Rocky Mountains and the USA. We are reading 'Carson Crosses Canada' and we are learning as we go. Carson started his trip in BC on Vancouver Island in Tofino.
We read the story, Mr. Packrat Really Wants That. In the story Mr. Packrat wanted to have the night sky and it was too big. Mr. Packrat wished for all the toys in the store and they all came. His house was so full he couldn't even breathe, and he had to squeeze out. It was a fun story!
We wrote about cats and used some good verbs!
We are all excited about the BBQ and meet the teachers tomorrow!!
