We read a story called The Darkest Dark. It reminded us of our own fears. We made a connection to the book and wrote about it in our journals.
In reading we talked about the stretchy snake strategy. When we find a tricky word we s-t-r-e-t-c-h- out the sound. Give it a try!
In gym we played four corners, revenge tag, and fairy godmother/fairy godfather tag.
At the end of the day we discussed what science was and started talking about liquids. "A liquid is things that you can pour."
