September 9

Today we discussed what the word represent means and how we can represent numbers in math. Our task was to write the number 10 in as many ways as we could. We did a gallery walk of our friends' books to see what other ideas we could use. Then we added more!

As a class we read The Legend of Rock Paper Scissors.
"My favourite part was when rock squished the apricot."
"I like when scissors cut paper."

We finished our All About Me pages where we describe who we are and share things that we enjoy.

Please talk with your child about where they are from, what city they were born, and what language you and your family speak. We are learning about diversity and the different cultures that make up our class.

Ms. Lowe will teaching the class this week. Please remember to bring back student demographic forms.
