In math we worked on 'more than' and 'less than'. We did a problem together and figured how much more we had one of our materials.
In Social Studies we watched a video about the maritimes, and then one about Prince Edward Island. We saw lighthouses, the ocean, some forests, a waterfall, houses on the shore with stilts, lots of boats, lobster traps, and some cliffs. They do lots of things, like whale watching, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, and eating seafood.
We wrote about our birch tree paintings. How the painting made us feel when we look at it, what we liked about our painting, and what we could improve next time we paint.
