This morning we wrote about how to make a PB and J sandwich. We were practicing our informational writing and adding details. Some of us shared with the class.
In math we rolled a dice to make a two-digit number, identified how many tens and ones there were, and then we drew it using base ten blocks.
Today we got our new spelling words and some of us worked with other Grade 2 teachers. We are trying some flexible groupings for our spelling every Monday-Thursday.
In music we were introduced to our Christmas concert songs! We will be singing on December 19.
For science we started a new unit! We did an experiment learning about boats, floating, and sinking.
A green paper for Christmas Trees and plants went home today as well as a class photo.
