In the morning we painted our birch tree background using mostly sunset colours. In the afternoon we took the tape off and we could see our birch trees. Then we took a black crayon, then we looked again at some birch trees on the smart board. We saw black marks on them, and we used the black crayon to make the marks on our birch trees.
We got some leaves and put a paper over it. We got crayons and rubbed the side of the crayon over it, and we saw the leaf on the paper!
In gym we played field hockey in the gym. We did a move with the hockey stick that looks like an umbrella shape. This move is for dribbling the ball.
In spelling we went to our spelling group classroom, and we practiced our words.
We had blocks to help us make two- digit numbers and break them into tens and ones. We started to do two-digit subtraction, and will be practicing lots more!
