Today we practiced reading through our performance for our assembly coming up next month.
Then we worked in our table groups to discuss how many words we could make ending in -ing. It lead to some great conversations when we learned that sometime we have to drop the 'e' from a word like hope and add 'ing' to make hoping. We also learned that we sometimes have to add a letter such as hop to hopping.
We our starting to create some of our own stories. We are learning to plan and describe our characters, setting, and problems when we make stories.
This afternoon we played tag games in gym and continued to practice our songs in music.
In math we went through our adding and subtraction questions from last week, looked at how we did, and analyzed how we could move forward and fix our mistakes.
