Valentine's Day
Classrooms will recognize Valentine's Day on February 12th. Students are welcome to bring in Valentine Cards for their classmates, however, please remember, there can be no candy attached to the Valentine Card.
Today in Class
When we read the Humphrey novel today, they got a new student in room 26. She had a teddy bear that was missing a button, had fluff coming out of it's ear, and it's smile was fading. We wrote about one of our stuffed animals, or a favorite comforting thing we have. Some student wrote about how Tabitha felt being a new student. We were making a personal connection to the story.
In gym we practiced being defense to block the ball while our partner tried to shoot it into the basket or the hoola hoop. We took turns.
In Social Studies we finished up our little books on Nunavut, Nova Scotia, and Saskatchewan.
