Today we started with a new table arrangement for our classroom. We spent the morning talking about our Winter Break and made a Story/Picture Walk.
After we played a little literacy game to see how many words we could think of that started with a certain letter that Ms. Lowe rolled from some letter dice.
In the afternoon we started to draw Howard in our visual journals. We are drawing Howard's brain to show us what good readers can do. Today we discussed that good reader's connect and ask questions.
In gym we started a new basketball unit. We practiced our dribbling.
We finished the day by playing some math games with our classmates.
